The Chef’sChoice EdgeCrafter #400DS features diamond Stones that are ultra-flat and extremely durable.Plated with 100% diamond abrasives at the ideal grit size for “single-stone sharpening,” they will sharpen any material including tungsten carbide, tool steel, ceramic, stone, stainless, carbon steel and more. These diamond sharpening stones can apply an excellent edge on a wide variety of sports and kitchen knives and tools, axes, arrowheads and more! EdgeCraft’s proprietary nickel plating process permanently bonds diamonds to a steel support plate securely attached to a precision-built solid hardwood box.

The steel support plate stays ultra-flat with no dishing. Optimum diamond spacing prevents loading of the abrasive surface with filings. An engraved hardwood cover protects each stone when it is not in use. Diamond abrasives require no messy sharpening oils or lubricating liquids. Rubber feet secure the stone to the work surface.
